Step 1: Your Custom Hairline Design
The first step of the ARTAS iX procedure is to create a 3D model of your head and current hairline. Using the 3D technology, we’ll design your hair restoration to help customize and plan your personalized hairline design.
Step 2: Advanced Follicle Harvesting
Next, the ARTAS iX system uses a high-definition stereoscopic vision system, a robotic arm, and AI algorithms to identify and select the optimum hair follicles from the donor area for transplanting. The ARTAS iX methodically removes hair follicles within a square centimeter and will only take what is available from that area so there is never overharvesting. Only healthy follicles are evenly extracted with robotic precision and speed to preserve the natural look of your donor area. In fact, the donor area hair grows back normally with no residual effects. Compared to an FUT hair transplant that requires removing a strip of your scalp from the back of your head and leaves a linear scar, the ARTAS uses FUE (follicular unit extraction) and leaves no tell-tale signs that it was even there.
Step 3: Implanting Hair Grafts with Exquisite Artistry While Maximizing Yield
After the donor hair grafts are extracted, we take special care to a successful hair transplantation process.
